As part of Google I/O Extended 2013, interested developers in Lagos will be gathering at an all-night code party to hack for good. So if you are looking to hang out with really cool developers in Lagos to build cool stuff this Friday night, you should be at the CcHUB. The CcHub is looking to join hands with creative designers and developers skilled in PHP, HTML+CSS & jQuery.
In almost every street corner is a beggar, a motherless baby, an intellectually challenged child, a disease-ravaged man or woman and a destitute with little hope of getting help or being saved.
Several people have been motivated by the pain of others to start charitable organizations to help some of these people. HelpACause is a platform which allows Nigerians to help and donate to a specific cause – help a child get his much-needed Kidney-Transplant or help a motherless babies’ home stay open. No amount is too small. HelpACause will empower every well-meaning Nigerian to contribute and help others. Each donation is considered sacred and will be for verified causes only. Transparently.
This CodeParty is a community-driven venture to bring together analysts, architects, developers and designers for an all-nighter with a focus on building this platform. Your time is a valuable contribution, necessary to make this much-needed platform a reality.
