#OTEKCHAT: Celestine Ezeokoye, Co-Founder of @TiketmobileApp, Nigeria

Remember Tiketmobile, one of the participating startups from the Growth Academy powered by Nokia and the Co-Creation Hub? Post-graduation, the start-up attempting to disrupt transportation in Nigeria is currently piloting the application in ‘real life’ – school is over.

Just in case you wondering, Tiketmobile  is a mobile ticketing platform aimed at eliminating the queues at the point of purchase and use of tickets by providing a convenient way for individuals to buy, use and manage tickets. It targets passengers and providers of interstate transport. This means: armed with the mobile app, a traveller would be able to choose, buy and manage tickets. On the other end, the bus service providers would be able to create and manage tickets.

So it was great to finally have Celestine Ezeokoye for the twitterview – yes, that means a twitter interview. His twitter handle – @celestocalculus sure points to how geeky and funny this young co-founder is. He started out with a ‘Testing the mic 1 2…‘ and then admitted it was going to be his first ever interview on Twitter.

It did not take long to have things rolling and Celestine answered a range of questions from startup, team, and product, to service and challenges. My best moment was actually at the end when he gave some word to fellow developers.  I don’t know who was harsher, in comparison to Bankole’s recent lashing on African developers in his digital-Hi-5 article.

Enjoy the full chat here, and do watch out for the next #OTEKCHAT. You are welcome to nominate anyone you want us to twitterview – and yes, that’s interview on twitter.
