2012 is here and promises to be a very interesting and fruitful year for the tech community. The landscape in Nigeria is currently undergoing some changes with many things (concepts, designs, prototypes, tests and all other aspects of product development) being carried out much faster and often times cheaper than ever before. Also, many people with smaller budgets are now looking for solutions to their every day challenges.
Google is therefore partnering with CcHub Nigeria to host the first Developer Parapo event of 2012. Emeka Afigbo, Google Outreach Program Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa will be around to enlighten the tech community on how to use Google’s wide range of tools to solve people’s problems and at the same time create businesses that can generate strong revenues.
Participants are expected to have the following understanding at the end of the event:
- Google tools and APIs
- Youtube in Nigeria and opportunities in New media
- Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Nigeria with Small and Medium scale businesses using Google tools
- The Google Technology User Group
- What to expect in 2012
January’s Developer Parapo will take at CcHub, 6th Floor, 294 Herbert Macaulay Way, Sabo, Yaba on 27 January 212. The event will kick off at 5.30pm and promises to be revealing.
