Co-creation Hub Launches in Nigeria

Co-creation Hub Nigeria, the brain behind Tech-In series and Social Innovation Camp Nigeria, has just announced its plan to launch CcHUB in Nigeria. According to the information made available to us, CcHUB will be the first open living lab and pre-incubation space being designed to be a multi-functional and multi-purpose space where work to catalyze creative social tech ventures take place.

The HUB will be a place for technologists, social entrepreneurs, government, tech companies, impact investors and hackers in and around Lagos to co-create new solutions to the many social problems in Nigeria.

The Hub:

CcHub seeks to achieve the following:

facilitate creative thinking and collaborative problem solving
encourage technology innovation for improved social accountability in Nigeria
incubate novel tech ideas that promotes good governance/provision of public services
encourage shared accountability between technologist & innovators
serve as a living lab for prototyping and testing socially minded tech toolsbuild new skills and competencies
connect, share, create and find expertise

The Hub will act as a cushy nest designed to accelerate the successful development of social tech ventures through an array of business support resources and services, developed and orchestrated by the hub management and offered both in the space and through our network of partners. The Hub will also try to network stakeholders from diverse walks of life and also encourage social accountability through

social creativity
activating knowledge networks
harnessing resources and imagination across society not just within public service professions and institutions

The Location:

The Hub will be located right in the middle of churches, schools, police stations, bars, typical Lagos market, popular bus stops and eateries and is a 182sqm open space.
