Growth Academy – an initiative by Nokia and the Co-Creation Hub, to open for classes. The three intensive program, to equip early stage start-ups and innovative business ideas and businesses with skills, resources, channels to market, platforms and expertise in a bid to accelerate and grow their development as businesses with major economic potential.
Co-Creation Hub in conjunction with Futurice will be providing hands-on User eXperience/UserI design training for mobile based designers from the selected startups. So make sure you are on the list before you start dashing down to the ccHub.
Training Overview
This programme consists of a half day classroom based hands-on training followed by one day of additional lab and support from the trainer to work on trainees own projects.
Day 1:
Introduction to User Driven design: An interactive session to focus on: What is a good design and areas where to find correct ingredients for successful application; design guidelines and challenging guidelines; How to design useable applications; Identifying users and designing for the experience; using grids & wireframes; tools for fast sketching, etc.
Day 2:
One on one support on the previous day’s class to work on trainees own projects
Training kicks off Monday May 21, 2012 at the Co-Creation HUB, 6th Floor, 294 Herbert Macaulay Way, Sabo, Yaba by 12 Noon. Remember it’s a strictly by invitation event, so we won’t be sharing any links for you to register.
