Nokia is set to announce a Software Application challenge for Nokia Asha range. The competition is to primarily target the new Asha 205 and 206 but will be cover for all Asha range of devices and J2ME devices.
The Challenge
The challenge will be grouped into a number of categories to target industries including: Agricultural, Government, Telecommunication, Education and others. Winner applications will be selected by a jury of mobile industry business influencers.
The application submission will start on 15th of December, 2012 and the all apps must be published before January 31st, 2013.
The Prizes
3 applications will be selected after a thorough review by Judges and the prizes will be ranked as:
- 1st prize USD 8,000
- 2nd prize USD 5,000
- 3rd prize USD 3,000
Winning applications will have publicity opportunities via marketing campaigns for the Nokia Asha 205 and 206.
The challenge will be posted on Nokia Nigeria facebook page on December first, so start brainstorming on that idea you want to develop.
