5 Reasons You Should Develop For Blackberry Platform in Nigeria

  • “Change to what? If there’s another phone that gives same/more function and better battery life. Yes, I will.”

Tayo is a geek and an owner of an HTC Window Mobile phone. This is what he said: “The temptation to acquire a BB OS7 is ever-present. Winning the battle so far. BB10/WP8 will  be another epic clash for me.” He first told me that he has moved away from Blackberry. From his comment, you can see that he has not really moved, his heart is still with Blackberry.

Someone said people are moving already and soon everyone is going to move away from Blackberry to Android and iOS devices. The person further said that the cool kids are moving already. My observation is that, even the “cool” kids that are moving to Android and iOS devices, though very small, still keep their Blackberry devices and have an active BIS service. According to Tope, a number of folks seem to  have moved but still use a BB for communication.

So, are people really moving?

And if people are moving, why are they moving?

That is a fantastic point. Many Blackberry users are not seeing any reason to move. There is no service here in Nigeria that can give them what they are getting on the Blackberry. As @4eyedmonk said, more people are coming on board.
