Webinar: Port Android Apps to Nokia Series 40, Create Great UIs, And More

Yesterday, a Facebook friend updated his status with an angry comment about how his app failed to run on a particular S40 phone after it ran successfully on another S40 phone. I really felt his pain because I know it has been hard for developers to develop a native app; guys have been frustrated by developing the same app for different platforms with different codes.

Enough of crying!

BlackBerry announced that using the new BlackBerry10 (to be launched in January), developers can port Android apps.. Developers can now breath a sigh of relief as this takes them closer to their BlackBerry app development goals. Nokia is also not getting left behind – developers can also port Android apps on Nokia S40 devices with a little adjustment of code. Nokia is organizing webinars to take developers step-by-step on how to make this happen.
