Samsung Galaxy SIII has been a hit since its introduction to the market by Samsung Mobile and has gained the company a leading stand in the mobile industry, especially against top contenders like iPhone 5 and Nokia Lumia 920. As we reported earlier, Samsung is taking a bold step with the introduction of the SIII mini, a device that delivers almost the same value as the SIII, but with a little difference. Here is what SIII mini holds:
It’s got the looks
Having used the SIII mini for some weeks now, I have gotten some compliments about how attractive and handy the phone is, and I agree completely.
Hardware and Operating System
Screen: With a 4″, 480 x 800 pixels super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and ability to multitouch, the SIII mini a high level of display clarity.
Body: The dimensions are 121.6 x 63 x 9.9mm and it weighs 111.5g; this makes it pocket smart and not too conspicuous.
Camera, Memory and Battery: With a 5 megapixel camera and a front-facing VGA camera, the Samsung SIII mini takes sharp pictures and records videos that can be stored on its 8GB internal memory (with up to 32GBmicroSD card slot). It also has 1,500 mAh battery with 9.5 hours battery life stand and uses full SIM.
Speed: It has 1GHz dual-core NovaThor processor, 1GB of RAM and GSM / EDGE (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900MHZ) radios with support for HSPA 14.4 (900 / 1900 / 2100). Other radios include dual-band 802.11a/b/g/n (2.4 and 5GHz), GPS and GLONASS and Bluetooth 4.0.
OS: The phone is running Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), which gives you unlimited access to apps through Google Play.
Social and Business
The SIII mini allows control over your work with access to mail push, Google Drive and other business apps. The social experience is not left out with social apps like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Whatsapp, Foursquare, and Instagram available for download.

Another Opinion
“Comparing this to my SIII, I would have gone for the mini instead because of the size and the handsome look and it would be nice for my children as they complained about the size of SIII” – Mr Shade, an Analyst.
