An app that helps confirm if you partner is cheating? Now that’s a kicker – in the sense that you want to get it if you are the one in doubt, and dread it if you are a Casanova like me.
Qoqoriqo, an African startup, announced the release of the first app ever to help people in a relationship to find out if their boyfriend or girlfriend is cheating on them. By simply entering the email address or the phone number of the boyfriend, girlfriend or spouse, the app will instantly pull out available data that has been collected on the person. Then the user is put in contact with the other people who unknowingly are dating the same person.
Studies found out that up to 60% of married women and men will cheat on each other. These numbers are much higher in urban areas, among singles and in colleges. Therefore, millions of women and men want to check if their spouse is cheating. There’s an app for that!
The Qoqoriqo app uses patterns matching scripts to make the system amazingly reliable. “It’s almost impossible to lie to the system for long time. We catch almost all liars, once people from their social circles start checking on them, without ever crawling into any external database, or even the open web. - If you have a reasonable doubt about your spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend, you can use Qoqoriqo to check them out. We will put you in contact with other people who might be dating the same person like you without knowing about the others.
- If you are in a serious relationship with a person, you can use Qoqoriqo to tell the whole world that this person is not available anymore. People searching for your partner will land on a dedicated page where you’ll display information about your loved one. It’ll discourage most of contenders.
- If your relationship with someone is getting serious, and you want to learn more about his or hers true nature and behavior, you can use Qoqoriqo to get in contact with any of his/hers ex-girlfriend/boyfriend or ex-wife/husband to ask questions about this person.
The Qoqoriqo app is free to use. User can make unlimited search, and gets a free access to a fact-checking forum on her boyfriend or his girlfriend. Users who want to access forums on other people like their neighbours for example should get a subscription starting at $6 a month. There is also a power function reserved to people who want to hide themselves from prying eyes. They can white-list their contact information for $99 a year like white pages do.
It’s funny, how this app got started. Mawuna was in a bar with some friends and just spotted a guy he happened to know kissing some girl while he knew he had a girlfriend. It then dawn on me the idea of an app that would help his lovely girlfriend, who was having some sweet dreams (possibly about him) in her bed, at home, to figure this out before it’s too late.
Undoubtedly, this app will start a firestorm in some towns and families. Some people said the Qoqoriqo app will destroy relationship and marriages in a society that is striving towards stability. To this statement, Mawuna Koutonin instantly replied: “Isn’t cheating the surest way to destroy relationships and marriages?”
“Sure, Qoqoriqo is very opportunistic, but there is a huge demand for such kind of app, believe me,” concluded Mawuna.
