MTN Nigeria, one of the leading cellular telecommunications company in Africa, has today unveiled a new logo to celebrate its 10 years anniversary in Nigeria. MTN Nigeria is part of the MTN Group and started operation in Nigeria on 16 May 2011 with full commercial operations beginning in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.
Since launch in 2001, MTN Nigeria has steadily deployed its services across Nigeria. The company’s digital microwave transmission backbone, the 3,400KM YelloBahn, was commissioned in January 2003 and is reputed to be the most extensive digital microwave transmission infrastructure in all of Africa.
