After the one month coding marathon, LAGbook is adding a sophisticated social blogging system to be launched in cities like Lagos, Nairobi, Accra, Johannesburg and Cairo.
“We want LAGbook to be a social networking utility with a prominent blogging feature where thousands and hundreds of thousands of bloggers can contribute their exceptional content.
“As we are approaching the one million member mark, we want to add an extreme unique feature to LAGbook, and we want that feature to be a blogging utility for African bloggers.
“We want them to write about anything especially about their cities and what’s happening there. This could make LAGbook a news portal about what’s happening at every minute in Africa, or a web resource that could help tourists understand Africa, and how to get around.”- Chidi Nwaogu, Co-Founders at LAGbook
LAGbook‘s team will be taking in articles from different blogs from the above mentioned cities and will be sharing it with their close to one million registered members. They will be accepting content from different blogs on topics like entertainment, technology, food, sports relevant to selected cities. The articles will be linked to the contributor’s blog with most articles being featured on LAGbook homepage for their visitors.
