Co-creation hub has been training some public Secondary School Students in the neighbourhood on robotics in the BotClub. The Botclub was launched in July 2013 is an initiative to introduce kids to software programming and technology innovation using robotics and they are ready to graduate the first set.
The club ran a three-month, after-school robotics programme where kids picked up creativity, programming skills and the ability to work in teams, amongst other skills.

18 students (12 boys and 6 girls), drawn from 3 public secondary schools in Lagos, have been exposed to the use of Lego Mindstorms and NXT TETRIX kits which contain software and hardware sufficient to create small, customizable and programmable robots.
This rather late from us, but the Cc-hub is inviting everyone to the graduation of the first set of students from the club on Wednesday, the 27th of November 2013 .
At the event, the students will showcase their graduation projects aimed at demonstrating the use of robotics in addressing real world problems and will also show some of the skills acquired by performing a live demo in teams.
