Post Google’s TGIT event in October, where over 200+ celebrities, it’s time to go public at the Silverbird Galleria from this Friday the 14th till Tuesday the 18th. Google would be setting up a really cool Hangout spot at the Galleria where people can come and hangout with their friends and family, meet new people, win cool Google gifts and generally have fun.
The aim is to give Nigerians an avenue to connect with their friends and families in different parts of the world without being bothered about bandwidth and internet access. “Yes, high speed internet, and everything else to make this as fun and productive as ever will be provided” – Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade, Google Communication and Public Affairs Manager,Anglophone West Africa.
In addition to hanging out with friend and family, there is also plan to have some Celebrity hangouts throughout the 5 days. These would be announced during the days.
