The year 2012 has been a busy year for Nigeria Tech industry as many startups sprouted up, some closed down and some merged to deliver quality services to their customer – can you think of any? But to round up the year, Google Developer Group Lagos (GDG Lagos) in collaboration with Google is putting together a DevFest.
DevFest is an event for designers, developers and techies. It is a developer community-run event with speaker sessions and code labs across Google Developer product areas and APIs.
The event will be diving into Google’s developer technology; everything from App Engine, Google Apps Script to product APIs like Maps API, Places API, YouTube API and Google Drive API.
There will be code labs for each of these – a full walk through from the start to finish of small applications using the listed APIs. So you should bring your laptops, and there will be chance of meeting other developers working on innovative projects.
