As part of its plan to launch its operation, CcHub Nigeria yesterday announced its membership plan. CcHUB is a membership based community of hackers, designers, tech companies, entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs, academics, investors and everyone interested in technology innovation and application for prosperity in Nigeria.
The different Tiers of Membership:
According to the information made available onCcHub blog, there are 4 tiers of membership currently available. These are Red, Orange, Green and Blue.
Red Membership
Red membership is open to individuals who wish to be part of CcHUB community virtually or participate in events occasionally. These members will be part of the online community where members can interact, share expertise and collaborate. Red members will also have the opportunity to participate in CcHUB events. Aside this, Red members can also apply for Orange membership. This is free of charge to interested members. members.
Orange Membership
Orange membership is for anyone who meets CcHUB basic requirements for membership and clearly demonstrates potential value to the community. To be granted Orange membership, applicants would have to attend a face-2-face interview with the Hub Management. As an Orange member, you will have access to the HUB. You will have flexible co-working space, meeting spaces, events and resources available to help you scale your projects and start-ups. Orange membership comes at NGN 30,000 per year and flexible payment arrangement is available.
Green Membership
If you are a startup or have projects that are in pre-incubation phase, then Green membership is for you. You will get access to a working space, mentoring, community of experts and users and ultimately capital. Green membership grants you access to a semi-permanent desk, locker, mailbox service and priority access to meeting room/spaces. However, there are currently only 10 spaces available per quarter. So, you really need to apply early if you are interested in this tier of membership.
Membership plan comes at NGN 30,000 per quarter. If you are existing Orange member, you have the opportunity to upgrade to Green tier of membership but preference will always be given to people/teams who can demonstrate progress towards a specific project or product.
Blue Membership
This is a tier for tech companies and corporate organisations interested in technology application and innovation in Nigeria. As a Blue member, you will get full access to the community i.e. space for event, access to expertise and use of living lab for product testing/launch. The fee for this will be communicated when it is decided.
