As part of its plans to bring developers and startups closer to opportunities, CcHub Nigeria has just announced the “Futures of Technology in Africa” event. The event will be held in partnership with Dr. Jasper Grosskurth – the author of the “Futures of Technology in Africa” book.
The book ‘Futures of Technology in Africa’ is the result of a three year foresight project. It reveals insights into the next two decades of ICT, energy and infrastructure and how developments in these sectors are going to affect everything else. The book contains scenarios providing a fascinating glimpse of how the opportunities and risks might play out. From the book, you will find advice on how businesses can take parts in the opportunities, as well as lessons that the West can learn from Africa.
This event will take place at CcHub Nigeria place on Wednesday, 05 October 2011 at 6pm. Jasper will be presenting the findings of his 3-year project and discuss the relevance for the technology community in Nigeria especially.
