Today’s is the first Developers Parapo in the year 2012, and I am going to be there to see what Google has to offer the Nigerian Tech community. Google has been a friend of the Co-Creation Hub, and it is no surprise that it will be kicking off the Developers Parapo series for the year 2012.
Host, Co-Creation Hub has promised that it will be very interesting and fruitful year for the tech community, and looking to go all in to change the Nigerian landscape in terms of concepts, designs, prototypes, tests and all other aspects of product development, bringing speed and cost-effectiveness as major features.
“Faster technological advancement is making tech startups more accessible to large numbers of people, with smaller budgets, looking for solutions to their every day challenges.” – Co-Creation Hub
Emeka Afigbo, Google Outreach Program Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa will be enlightening the tech community on how to use Google’s wide range of tools to solve people’s problems hereby creating businesses that can generate strong revenues. Specifics will include:
- Google tools and APIs
- Youtube in Nigeria and opportunities in New media
- Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Nigeria with Small and Medium scale businesses using Google tools
- The Google Technology User Group
- What to expect in 2012
Some people I’m looking forwards to meet include Ada Amugo and Tunde Olabenjo of 3AL. Remember 3AL from the #Top10NigerianStartups 2011? WebtrendsNG’s Sherrif Shittu, and Tech360NG’s Abiodun Thorpe will be at the event too. Also looking forward to meet Oduntan Odubanjo from the recently featured Twinpine Networks.
So if you made the guest list (which will be strictly adhered to), then feel free to buzz me up on twitter – @NubiKayode, and let’s network afterwards.
“Our refreshments will delight you and the atmosphere promises to be networking charged. We look forward to seeing you.” – Co-Creation Hub
