VTU is an MTN service that allows the sale of airtime to MTN prepaid and postpaid customers without using vouchers, cards or PIN. As a MTN subscriber, you no longer need to scratch and load voucher through the regular MTN recharge command. The good news is that you can top up as many times as you want
Who is VTU for? MTN VTU service is available to both MTN Prepaid and Postpaid customers.
How to recharge through MTN VTU?
Visit the nearest authorised MTN VTU Vendor, Trade Partner, MTN Service Centre or Connect Store in your area and submit your telephone number. You then need to request for the value of airtime you need and pay the corresponding amount. Your mobile phone gets recharged with the required airtime immediately. You will also receive a text message notifying you of the successful transaction.
What value of airtime can be topped up via MTN VTU?
You can top-up any value between NGN50.00 and NGN50, 000.00. To top up with airtime values higher than NGN50,000.00 e.g. NGN200,000.00, you will request for NGN50, 000 VTU x 4. i.e. NGN50,000 VTU in four different places.
