It is Friday and we are ready to give you a #TGIF take-home by announcing that the 9jApps contest has been extended, giving room to developers to submit apps for one more month. The team behind the competition, including the Co-Creation Hub, and Nokia, had just communicated this to us that having seen a good rate of submission as well as requests for an extended deadline.

The competition which was launched on March 28, 2013 and suppose to close on June 14, 2013, but has been extended to July 19, 2013. The 9jApps contest is set to empower the next generation of Nigerian developers including: students, entrepreneurs, and independent developers, by helping them drive innovation and grow the local software economy.
