Talking about the evolving technology scene in Nigeria is something we love to do at OTEKBITS. That’s why we think it is time to start paying more attention to the ninjas that make things happen in the tech industry – the developers. We want to take it a step further by telling the stories of Nigerian developers in a series called “Developer’s Corner”.
Why Developer’s Corner?
Many young Nigerian students and graduates are looking to dive into the tech world and it is difficult for them to find local mentors or people that faced the same challenges that they are facing. Seeing as Guido Van Rossum’s story may not be a suitable one for their condition because he never had some of the infrastructural challenges we face, we are looking to engage and encourage aspiring and existing developers with stories of homegrown developer talent.
