Paga, arguably the biggest transfer and payments service in Nigeria that allows users send and receive cash, pay bills, merchants and buy airtime online, on mobile or from Paga agent, has just crossed the 500,000 users mark, and the excited Founder & CEO, Tayo Oviosu, made the announcement on his Facebook wall, and then twitter.
.@mypaga just crossed a major milestone of 500,000 users! Thanks to all who have used Paga. #JustPagait facebook.com/photo.php?fbid…

How much did the Customers Promo contribute to this new figure, and is Paga finally getting grasp at a real market. Funding is no problem for the tech startup, as it did get a big in-flow of cash to expand its service offering nation wide, July 2012.
Whatever the case may be, this new success takes Paga a step further in terms of providing online – especially mobile payment solutions to Nigerians.
