This error message signifies that Outlook Express is unable to find any server to connect to. Always make sure that you are connected to a network – check DNS numbers, remove and re-install the TCP/IP of your computer.

In order to resolve this error, go to the start menu, type ‘cmd’ in the run section then type ‘ping e-mail address –t’. By doing this, you will be able to find the correct server. In addition, you can opt to adjust the level of security in firewall option, email inspector and antivirus programs. This error pops up if the email address entered in the ‘reply to’ field is incorrect and can be resolved by simply typing the correct email address in the desired field.
