BuyCommonThings.com, another player in Nigeria’s e-commerce space, is unveiling a new identity with their website, gloo.ng. The platform, which launched on October 6, 2012, is helping customers save time and money while reducing the stress that comes with shopping for groceries and living essentials.
Seeing the need to expand coverage to a wider community, gloo.ng will highlight the company’s core benefit of simplifying customers’ lives. The less cluttered website layout will make it easier for customers to navigate the site and buy items.
Olumide Olusanya, Gloo.ng CEO, says:
“Ecommerce is gradually becoming the most effective form of direct marketing and products/service delivery in Nigeria. BuyCommonThings.com, now Gloo.ng, is the preferred destination when it comes to living essentials shopping [and] has become known for dependable and legendary service. [We offer] the shortest average order-to-doorstep time in the entire industry; everyday low prices; 100% free same day delivery; and widest selection of supermarket goods online in Nigeria. We don’t sell groceries, we sell happiness! Now you all know how happiness looks; it looks like Gloo.ng.
The rebranding exercise will be completed by June 3rd, 2013 but you can visit gloo.ng to feel the new experience. A press conference to launch the event will hold by 1pm at Rodizzio Restaurant (29, Isaac John Street, Ikeja, Lagos).
About Gloo.ng
Gloo.ng’s vision is to be Nigeria’s biggest supermarket…without brick-and-mortar. The mission is to change the way Nigerian’s shop for groceries and living essentials – the same way Amazon changed the way the US shops for books – one customer at a time.
