Have you heard about the Lagos Angel Network (LAN)? No? Neither had I till I got an email last Friday saying they were announcing the first LAN Pitch Day. The Lagos Angel Network, as you might have guessed correctly, are a group of investors interested in supporting promising startups through funding and mentorship.
On Pitch Day, four selected start-up teams will be given 15 minutes each to make a presentation and 10 minutes for a Q&A session, after which the Angels (as the investors have dubbed themselves) will have 5 minutes to write their assessment on forms provided by the LAN Secretariat. Local and international observers including the press will be present at the event.
