Stephen Elop, Nokia CEO shocked the audience when he announced the arrival of the long awaited picture sharing application, Instagram on the Windows Phone. Instagram with a vast number of users on Android and iOS will be available on Windows phones very soon.
Speaking on that Samuli Hänninen, Vice President Software Program Management, said they’ve have been in talk with Facebook about Instagram and glad they can get the application out finally.
In addition, competing app from Twitter, Vine, find its way to the Windows Phone. With both apps very dependent on the camera quality of the device, it’s no doubt Nokia has proven to meet the standards required to give an amazing photo sharing experience to users.
In all of this excitement, there is no word on BBM making the Windows Phone, having just rolled out iOS and Android platform.
