Etisalat and Opera Software are providing an even better mobile web experience to consumers in Nigeria, with Etisalat offering a co-branded Opera Mini browser, the bundles come in two flavors – Sport and Social – available to all of its over 13 million Nigerian customers. Already more than 200 million people around the world use Opera’s mobile browsers each month.
The days of mobile phones simply being for calls and texting are long gone, and operators are already offering more types of content, including streaming media, video, entertainment, maps and gaming, as well as a host of other useful apps and tools.
Opera Mini is a highly customizable mobile web browser that is compatible with more than 3,000 different makes of handsets. Etisalat is launching two flavors of its co-branded offering – a Social bundle and a Sports bundle, running on the latest Opera Mini browser version 7. The Social bundle gives subscribers daily access to social networking sites – Facebook, Twitter and Naijapals, while the Sports bundle gives subscribers daily access to sites like Goal, Opera Sport, and ESPN.

Subscribers who do not wish to purchase any of the bundles can simply download the Opera Mini browser at the normal data rates.
