Gbenga Sesan, Executive Director of Paradigm Initiative Nigeria (PIN) announced at TEDxIfe that PIN’s TENT initiative will kick-off in OAU, Ile Ife.
TENT, which is an acronym for “Techie. Entrepreneurial. Nigerian. Talented” is a bold five 5 year experiment to equip students with necessary skills so that at the end of their schooling, they graduate with a degree and a business.
At graduation we want them to show us tech businesses and business plans, not CVs. -‘Gbenga Sesan
Gbenga says a MoU has been signed with the school management and the program kicks off on Monday April 30, 2012 with Year 1 students of Computer Science/Engineering. The program will eventually allow other students from other departments to participate.
