She Code has announced the application process for the She Code Africa Summer Code Camp 2021 for Young African Women. The Summer Code Camp by She Code Africa is a 4-week learning bootcamp targeted at junior and high school girls to educate them on tech and take them through learning in different tracks in tech.
About the She Code Africa Summer Code Camp
The Summer Code Camp is an annual initiative of She Code Africa targeted at High school girls from across Africa to stimulate and nurture their interests in STEM. This year’s edition is fully virtual, to be held from the 7th – 28th of August 2021, over the period of 4 Saturdays with the girls hosted by accomplished African women in STEM through a series of fun and engaging activities and events, all for FREE.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria
- Identify as a girl within the ages 10 – 18 and must reside in any of the African countries
- Have access to a working laptop
- Have access to internet connectivity for the duration of the program
- Power Supply through the duration of each class is not a problem
Duration of the Camp
She Code Africa Summer Code Camp will be from 7th to 28th of August 2021 and will be over 4 Saturdays.
