Are you a Startup? Or developers that feel you have the solution to solve human problems? Are you looking for funding to move from idea to solution? Then, July 2011 Mobile Monday event is for you. As part of its commitment to see the emergence of Nigeria as the Startup Hub in Africa, the MoMo Nigeria team put together an Investor – Startup event tagged “Pitch Monday”.
Pitch Monday will take place on 25 July 2011 in Lagos and the venue will be confirmed in few days. The event seeks to bring together Angel investors, Seed stage investors, Venture Capitals etc and Startups / Business owners. As an follow-up to June meet-up, lawyers (Law firms) will also be in the house. Startups will have few minutes to pitch their services / solutions (yes, not idea :d) to the Investor community. The investor(s) will then decide if they will be making any investment or not.
According to the information made available to the Otekbits team, to qualify as a Startup, you must have a service / solution or you are already working on one. Having an idea only will not guarantee you a pitching spot on the day. Your service should be something that meets a need and should be something that can easily be scaled up to other markets.
